Description

Advantage Interactive, an internet services company, need an outstanding senior sysadmin to help push our small team on toward excellence. You will be good at all the usual linux sysadmin stuff (installing servers, exim, bind, apache, and so on), networking, security, scripting and all things technical. You'll also be unafraid to run headfirst into new challenges and will relish the chance to try something new every day.

More important than this, you know how to cope when things go wrong. You can spot the important problems and get the whole team to focus on these. You'll recognise the time being wasted repeating the same dull tasks and automate them. Alongside all of this, you will also be able to step back from the immediate issues and be able to nudge the team towards achieving the bigger goals.

Qualifications
