This varied role requires a dynamic individual who can demonstrate great attention to detail, design flair and a creative eye. The applicant should have at least 1 year of commercial experience with a passion for design and a can-do-attitude.
The successful applicant will be working as part of a small focused team on in-house brands, producing creative material for the web. You could be designing websites, micro-sites, flash animations, emails, banners, flyers, newsletters or whatever else the business/marketing requirements demand.
You will have the opportunity to develop some of the more technical skills, as well as being able to build on your existing strengths and knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to be involved in exciting projects.
- Main responsibilities

- Follow quality control system (e.g. revision control, project management)
- Conform to web standards (e.g. W3C (WAI,WCAG), Code validation (XHTML, CSS), semantic markup)
- Meeting deadlines
- Web site development and design
- Creating web site templates
- Design with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in mind
- Creating graphics for marketing and advertising
- Maintaining consistent styling and themes throughout brands
- Aiding with creative writing for company websites
- Designing newsletters for all brands
- Designing mailshots
- Guarantee quality assurance on the design work delivered
- Coordinating with the projects team
- Qualifications

- Commercial experience with the following software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
- Commercial experience using HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.
- Competent using the Windows platform
- Outstanding working design understanding and knowledge
- Brand-literate
- Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions
- Able to work in a team, but also on own initiative
- Flexible, committed and reliable
- Innovative and creative in the form of continuous improvement to internal processes
- Aspire to grow with the company
